Embattled president of Burkina Faso, Blaise Compraore who was compelled to resign earlier today because of continued protests demanding that he does so, flees to Ghana by road.A
lso ,it has been learnt that there have been a military coup and the army has taken over much to the displeasure of the protesters as they have intensified their protests.
It will be recalled that this unrest began when President Compraore tried to manipulate the constitution to extend his stay as President after ruling for 27 years.Protests began around the country with protesters storming the parliament and burning down the National television.
