 2.) George Weah becomes a Senator.

Former world footballer and Nigerian born ex football player, George Weah has won the senatorial election in Liberia. The former footballer who has also been the president of the Liberian football federation. This will be the second time he'll be contesting to be a senator. He lost out to the current president of Liberia, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.
