Ventures Africa magazine has published that Mrs Folorunsho Alakija, Nigerian born oil tycoon, has unseated Oprah Winfrey as the richest black woman in the world.
According to ventures Africa, Oprah Winfrey has an estimated wealth worth of $2.9 billion as listed by Forbes while Forbes magazine listed the estimated wealth worth of Folorunsho Alakija as
$7.3 billion dollars.
Africa has about 55 billionaires with a total wealth of $483 billion dollars.
Folorunsho Alakija has oil companies with some of the most lucrative oil blocks.
