Equatorial Guinea are the new hosts of AFCON 2015!

The confederation of African football is just made the announcement that the country are the new hosts of the upcoming African cup of Nations in January 2015.
 This development is as a result of CAF's disqualification of Morocco as the former hosts of the tournament.

Morroco no longer hosting ACN 2014.The confederation of African federation

The confederation for African football has confirmed that Morocco will no longer be hosting the 2014 African nations' cup.This is as a result of Morocco not meeting the deadline given to them by CAF to decide if they still wanted to host the tournament.
 CAF said this action violated one of their regulations and withdrew their sponsorship rights.

CAF also announced that it has received applications from some countries showing interest in hosting the competition next year January.

Morocco had earlier tried to get CAF to push further the dates of the championship due to Ebola fears.
