Ebola - 100 Nigerian health workers in Sierra Leone to help curb Ebola

The Nigerian federal ministry of health has announced that 100 volunteer health workers from the country has travelled to Sierra Leone to help contain the dreadful disease, Ebola.
 These health workers are from health centers from around the country.They alongside other volunteers from other countries received training on working with Ebola patients by WHO in Accra, Ghana before embarking on their journey.


A large number of Nigerian health workers, particularly from the Lagos State teaching hospital had earlier expressed intentions of going to help our West African countries affected by the Ebola epidemic and the then federal minister of health , professor Onyebuchi Chukwu, promised them the essential training needed.
