President of the federal republic of Nigeria, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Governor of Akwa ibom state, Godswill Akpabio,,Football legend, Pele, Presidents of Ghana and Côte d'ivoire respectively,the president of CAF, Issa Hayatou, the Alaafin of Oyo and other VIP personalities will converge in Akwa Ibom, Uyo precisely to commission the mind blowing stadium built by Governor Godswill Akpabio.
The stadium is a masterpiece, 30,000 seater modern and standard stadium that has already been approved by FIFA will be commissioned today by 3.00pm.
A ceremonial friendly football match will be played between Nigeria and Ghana after the commissioning.
