The confederation of African football is just made the announcement that the country are the new hosts of the upcoming African cup of Nations in January 2015.
This development is as a result of CAF's disqualification of Morocco as the former hosts of the tournament.
Equatorial Guinea has once co- hosted this championship with neighboring Gabon but they now get the opportunity to host it solely.
